Music
Our music ministry is multi-faceted combination of instrumental, choral, and worship team. Our goal is to reach out to the community and the congregation with praise and worship that will honor and glorify God. We attempt to accommodate the styles and preferences of our congregation, using both traditional and contemporary music in our services. Music is a very important part of our praise to God. The Psalmist encourages us over and over to praise God with music. Psalm 33:1-5 says, "Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy!" “Jesus Put a Song in My Heart”—the name of a beloved hymn—could also describe the choir members!! We sing because we want the love of God that is in our hearts to carry into our music. It is our desire to enhance our worship services through music, letting the music penetrate hearts and souls!
