Scott Brownson Camp Songs

Camp Songs

Sunday :: Worship / Fellowship

Sunday, November 24th

Scott Brownson is a husband, father of three, worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist.
He started writing songs while in Bible college and soon started a band called Pivitplex while a youth pastor in Montana. Pivitplex eventually put out 2 albums, and the band toured out of Nashville for several years.

In 2007, after a series of personal tragedies, Scott and his wife Carla decided it was time to come off the road. Scott became a worship pastor in Utah and then helped plant a church in New Mexico. During that time, he fell in love with leading worship and began to write simple songs that his church could sing. God opened the door for Scott to record some of these songs, called “Songs in Response.”

Since then, Scott and his family have moved back to their native Montana and serve at the camp that he grew up at called Clydehurst Christian Ranch. He has now put out two more “Songs in Response” and spends time leading worship in his local church, at Clydehurst for the youth and families that attend camp, and travels extensively to churches, colleges, and conferences to lead music, teach about worship leading, encourage songwriters and ministry leaders, and play concerts.
