Distractions

Sunday :: Worship / Fellowship

Sunday, November 25th

Our current sermon series is called Distractions. Life is full of Distractions that can throw us off course. This has always been the case, but Distractions seem to be growing both in number and in their power to steal our focus and throw us off track. This is certainly true when it comes to following God in the everydayness of life. Focus takes time, attention, discipline, and perseverance. God’s Word can help us understand what kinds of Distractions steal our attention. God’s Word also helps us shift our attention back to the things that matter most.

Key Verse

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Matthew 6:33

Sip & Paint, Christmas Art Walk

On December 23 and 24, our church will host a Christmas Art Walk. You will get to walk through a collection of paintings that portray the amazing story of Christmas. Anyone, of any age can also submit their own painting that answers the question: “What is Christmas to you?”

On December 9, along with a potluck and kids’ movie, we will host a Sip & Paint event after church for anyone wanting to take part in our Christmas Art Walk. All painting supplies will be provided.

We hope that these unique events will help remind us that Christmas is all about Jesus Christ and the gift He is to a lost and broken world.
