Love Like Jesus

Love Like Jesus: Part 3

Sunday :: Worship / Fellowship

Message for Sunday, April 16th

There’s so much pain and hurt in the world, sometimes it’s hard to see anything else. But what if, we saw more of His love? The greatest sacrifice in history shows us how to make it happen. In this three-part series, we’ll look at three main ways that Jesus loved the Church: by washing feet, and breaking bread, and forgiving sinners.

Part 3: Forgives Sinners
Jesus’ death and resurrection helps us to have hope in a broken world. As Jesus was being crucified he spoke “forgiveness” over His executioners. He also spoke forgiveness over us and to us. Today, as we celebrate Easter and His resurrection remember, out of love, He “Forgives Sinners.”

Key Verse

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

Kansas Wildfire Relief

In early March, a wildfire raged across the high plains of Clark and Comanche Counties in southern Kansas, burning over 500,000 acres and killing or injuring thousands of cattle. We would like to put together a team from Sweet Grass County that would travel to Kansas May 22nd or 23rd and spend that week repairing fence for the many affected families of this tragedy. If you are interested, please sign up in the foyer or contact Jason Burkholder or Jay Pravecek for more information.
