Summer is here and we want to encourage you to ‘Bring Your Bible’ to worship each Sunday. We are kicking off the summer looking at passages that will help us understand the power of God’s Word in our lives.
We’re thankful this morning to have Land Of Color with us today! After meeting right down the road, at Clydehurst Christian Ranch during a songwriters retreat, they have traveled and recorded, sharing their music and spreading the message of what it is to be a child of God.
It was a few years back when we had the privilege of hosting this band, formerly known as Holy Mountain. They have released a few albums since then and will be leading worship this morning. Don’t forget to join us for the free concert this evening at 6:00 pm!
We’re so excited to welcome special guests, Gordon, Niki, and Mark Elliott! Gordon and Niki have been working in the mission field since 1984. On Sunday morning they will be sharing about their current ministry work in Liberia, West Africa.
But the Lord said, “You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?”
Growth is good! When a baby is born into the world, we are excited to see them develop. As time goes on we see their smiles, movement, and physical growth. And we celebrate each step of the way. The same should be true of our personal walk with God and then as a church family. We should be growing spiritually as individuals, and in depth and reach as a church family. Over the next few weeks, we will be talking about what this looks like in our church family. Please join us each week!
