A More Excellent Way: Not an Option

Believers are commanded to love each other. Love is to characterize the believer’s life. Anything that gets in the way of love has to be “put away.” Anything that promotes godly love has to be “put on.” We are called to genuine fellowship, loving relationships, and Christlikeness. They are not an option for anyone who calls themselves a Christian.

Graduation Sunday

This morning we celebrate our 2017 graduates! May the Lord bless you with courage and endurance as you use the gifts and talents God’s given you!

Happy Mother’s Day!

As a church, we wish each mom a Happy Mother’s Day! Proverbs 31:28 says, “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” May the Lord bless each mom present. May He be a light for your feet, a lamp for your way, and the wisdom you need for each day!

A More Excellent Way: Part 3

Jesus called us to love each other. “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another (John 13:34).” Genuine Love in the Body of Christ flows from a new life.

A More Excellent Way: Part 2

Jesus called us to love each other. He referred to it as the “new commandment” and indicated it would be the world’s way of knowing that we are His followers. The Apostle Paul writing the church in Corinth desired to show them a “still more excellent way,” which was clearly based on love for one another.
